resize_imageMichael Beckley is an assistant professor of political science at Tufts University specializing in U.S. and Chinese foreign policy.  His research has appeared in a variety of publications and popular media, including the Financial Times, the Harvard Business Review, International Security, National Public Radio, the Weekly Standard, and the Yale Journal of International Affairs.  Prior to Tufts, Michael was a fellow at Dartmouth College and Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.  He has also worked at the RAND Corporation, the U.S. Department of Defense, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and the Carter Center.  He holds a PhD in political science from Columbia University.
